TWIXMAS

In a marketing calendar saturated by brands, Twixmas, the period between (“betwixt”) Christmas and New Year was wide open for the taking.

We owned Twixmas by launching the first ever Twixmas hit, a post-Christmas TikTok banger to shake off the sickly festive tunes. Written and performed with Nella Rose and DdoubleE, produced by BBC Radio 1xtra grime DJ Sir Spyro, the track celebrated the most self-indulgent time of year and invited people to share how they spend it.

I was the Art director / lead designer on this campaign. Creating the entire look and feel including the typography, graphics, animation and props for the music video.


TWIXMAS CASE STUDY FILM

I worked closely with the creative teams to create a compelling look to the music video which aligned with their vision, whilst maintaining the social first mindset. I carefully crafted a lock up for the campaign essentially creating an add on to the world renowned logo ensuring the client was on board at every stage. I designed all the key visual elements plus the animation style then worked closely with a freelance animator who implemented it across the videos and social cut downs. To make sure the music video lived entirely in the Twix world, I created numerous props for the music video using the brand type / colours which really helped tie it all together.
